In British woodlands on Divine Mercy Sunday

Such a lovely warm weather yesterday. Also Divine Mercy Sunday. Just thought to go for strolls and have some water fun in one of the brooks in Manchester. We were out near Manchester Airport viewing area, lot of people enjoying flights taking off and landing. Beautiful eye catching experience. Following that, we moved near to water.

By looking at water and around the nature with its dazzling beauty and quietness, I felt like thanking God for these beauties in the nature. Children enjoyed diving toes in the beginning as water was so cold. Slowly embraced it , enjoyed skimming, splashing water, throwing sand and me enjoyed clicking those beauties around. Even climbed some peaks, especially my hubby gets crazy seeing slopes and hills,
You may well have heard of the Japanese practice of Shinrin–yoku, or forest bathing, that has recently taken the UK but did you know that it’s now even prescribed by doctors? Studies have shown that time among trees can lower blood pressure and cortisol levels and help with depression. The chemical compounds that trees release to protect themselves, called phytoncides, have even been found to have positive effects on the human immune system. Many of the same benefits can be gained through a simple woodland walk or exercising in nature. Green spaces play a pivotal role in physical and mental health, which I recommend many of my friends to follow.
Also it was the Feast of Divine Mercy and recited chaplet in woods when it was 3pm.Coming home, kidoos went out to get some slush, red and blue rays layered indicating blood and water pouring out from the heart of Jesus on this very special day. It is a day to prepare and get reconcilation, pray for mercy upon the whole world. Some of the past feast days celebrated.
On Sunday it Was Manchester Marathon too, more than 36,000 people took part in the journey from Old Trafford towards the new finish line on Oxford Road. Also Annu joined along with her friends to report the news as part of her journalism assignment So we can be reminded of the tagline of the feast day- JESUS I TRUST IN YOU. .

2025 Easter - Alleluia-Christ is Risen

It was a blessed Easter. Vigil service was an amazing time, our family could play a big part.I thank God for using us in different ways.Time with family and friends for this Easter. As a family, we went out to meet some in our neighbourhood. Many of our friends gathered at home. After Easter egg hunt and little ones went for Alleluia word hunt in our garden.Time to have fun and the day was a glorious day with sun shining gently. Easter joy was there around the nature too. Also we went for a stroll in our water park. Ended the day late after lot of fun, laughter, food and fellowship.The day closed with Regina Caeli prayer for the Easter season. I am reminded of the Holy father's quote on Easter day from past- We are Easter people, people of Hope and joy. Some of the Easter symbols tried to do like making Paschal Candle with four cloves reminding nails pierced and the year 2025. Also lambs,bunnies which are signs of new life, through the resurrection of Jesus. Simply you will see all these signs around Easter time if you look around. I am really fond of Easter life,spring buds, new lambs plodding around in the farm lands if you move around through English countryside. As Psalmist says; Death has no stings over Christ? Christ has overcome death and each one of us, dead to sin through Christ which is not restricted to Christian or person of any faith, for each and every human being. Easter meal of ours was lamb roast, which symbolises- Christ the lamb of God atoned for our sins.
After Vigil mass, the aim was to break an Easter egg, some broke their fasting after 90 days of magnify and small fastings.Easter eggs are the fun bit after coming home.

Triduum 2025

Sundown on Holy Thursday to sundown on Easter Sunday is considered the most solemn part of the liturgical year. This three-day period is referred to as the Easter Triduum, also known as the Sacred Triduum. Maundy Thursday after the Holy Mass , we had the passover pesaha meal, joined by one of our friends. On Good Friday we remember the passion and the death of the Christ.It was a day of silence and reflection.I tried to make some hot cross buns in the morning and was yummy. Also after the passion service, some of us gathererd together and went for visiting 7 churches which is a tradition on Maundy Thursday.It was such a nice experience in walking and visiting 7 Churches.Unexpectedly kidoos also enjoyed the walk.This was one of our dream every lenten time to follow and it happened this year 2025.
The journey began from our parish church St Ambrose Chorlton and ended in St Augustine church Oxford road. It was such a memorable walk and day of prayer.

     Me and my beloved

   Other Faculty members , Dr Sarah from London and Ann

Our Journey;
It was my eldest daughter Ann marie who helped me to prepare for the day. So great to see how kids grown into mature adults. She said, "Mom, Go and get inspired and inspire us". It was joyful moments for me to hear that how they looking upto us.

Met so many faculty members and other charity  leads and the consultation space is fabulous.  The day was full of adventures travelling in different trains, through underground Northern line and reached  in Feldy centre near Thames.  Had a brilliant day and clinic will start next month.

I remember this Word of God-"Delight in the Lord and He will make paths straight". I gave up my job and was full time with my children and family, ministered to children, teens and youth whenever we could, both me and my husband along with our children. At the right time, He lifted me up, provided and filled me , fulfilled my dream. Great are you Lord!!!

  Never Give up on your dreams. Pursue it...
