By looking at water and around the nature with its dazzling beauty and quietness, I felt like thanking God for these beauties in the nature. Children enjoyed diving toes in the beginning as water was so cold. Slowly embraced it , enjoyed skimming, splashing water, throwing sand and me enjoyed clicking those beauties around. Even climbed some peaks, especially my hubby gets crazy seeing slopes and hills,
You may well have heard of the Japanese practice of Shinrin–yoku, or forest bathing, that has recently taken the UK but did you know that it’s now even prescribed by doctors? Studies have shown that time among trees can lower blood pressure and cortisol levels and help with depression. The chemical compounds that trees release to protect themselves, called phytoncides, have even been found to have positive effects on the human immune system. Many of the same benefits can be gained through a simple woodland walk or exercising in nature.
Green spaces play a pivotal role in physical and mental health, which I recommend many of my friends to follow.
Also it was the Feast of Divine Mercy and recited chaplet in woods when it was 3pm.Coming home, kidoos went out to get some slush, red and blue rays layered indicating blood and water pouring out from the heart of Jesus on this very special day. It is a day to prepare and get reconcilation, pray for mercy upon the whole world. Some of the past feast days celebrated.
On Sunday it Was Manchester Marathon too, more than 36,000 people took part in the journey from Old Trafford towards the new finish line on Oxford Road. Also Annu joined along with her friends to report the news as part of her journalism assignment
So we can be reminded of the tagline of the feast day- JESUS I TRUST IN YOU.
