Birthday Of Our Sweet little girl

Some of the beautiful days at home is the preparation phase for a birthday. Started preparation a week ahead for the party ,handed invitation to Theresu's friends. She is going to be eight, so excited about it. Theme was butterfly which obviously every children would love and color was pink and purple.

Theresu wanted some of her friends for the party. Annu made butterfly cake and cupcakes were designed using butterfly fondants which Theresu received for her Christmas. Chocolates and vanila cupcakes were prepared by my big lad Michu. Some of the butterfly banners and toppers were decorated in advance for the party. The night before her birthday, a collage of her photos was stuck on a canvas and embellished with glitters and stuffs. I decorated the room in the night with butterfly cutouts and wrapped up her gifts.

Theresu is preparing party bags with thank you label and filling gifts.

The day began  with her birthday wish and gifts, following that we went to attend Holy Mass as a family. Children were dropped by parents around 6pm for party, . First of all kiddos started with a craft, foam butterfly pattern was given for each, lots of glitters, glues, pom poms, gems, jewels were there to decorate. Children really enjoyed making beautiful butterfly craft with all embellishments. Came out really well and they even spent an ample time in doing craft work. Then moved on to magic show by Michu debut performance of magic using magic kit bought from charity shop sometime back. He did 3 magic shows and brilliant in term of first show. After that, everyone was in row to do Pin the butterfly and was fun too in their blind folds.

Then we made a small prayer for Theresu , birthday girl looks so happy with her friends.Thinking of wonderful ways Lord looked after her since her preterm birth with less than 1 kg weight.Thank God. Cake cutting was next..We had lots of yum yum foods like jelly, marshmallows, sausages, fruit platter in the form of butterfly and so on.After that was the most exciting bit of party which children were looking forward was pinata.

Party was finished and Theresu expressed thanks to everyone by handing party bags and some cupcakes for their siblings. The day was so opulent and Thank God for everything.

term holiday- Epiphany

As closing to the feast of Epiphany or twelve days of Christmas, JY children were invited to our home just to have a fun time with nature walk, football, movie and meal. Six families sent their children and was a lovely day though it was terribly freezing. Nature walk was brilliant with some fun time at park.

Once reached home, there was a king cake cutting and surprisingly Geo became the king, whom found the piece of bread with little cross. My bread looks bit crumbly but was ok in real. Annu decorated with colored sugar sprinkles and icing and turned out well.

Mich is making Galette de Rois(french ) on the day of Epiphany. Home was blessed by Jochaya using the blessed chalk and prayers.. Finally our three kings were found out by Theresu and waas presented to baby Jesus to pay homage.

So it was a blessed day , Epiphany of  the Lord , manifestation of the Lord to the world. Eastern churches celebrate it as the baptism of the Lord. Finally decors of Christmas are down,  '' We three king and twelve days of Christmas'' were sung to continue the christmas spirit.

Advent 2018

Advent  began this year on 2nd of December. One of the exciting feasts for children was the feast of St Nicholas, asked everyone to leave their shoes,Theresu was so
excited in the morning to see what'up in the
