Holywell and Conwy

It was a great time with Joby, Ani n children to visit Holywell and Pantasaph.  Holywell  has its name taken from St Winifred's well surrounded  by a chapel. This is a christian pilgrimage since 660 and saint was beheaded when she was attacked. It is known as Lourdes of Wales. From there we went to Pantasaph  which is closest to Holywell , had food outdoor in the lawn of  Pantasaph and visited the calvary stations . This was great as children got opportunity to wander around and run themselves. Padre Pio garden and shop along with St David church which speaks of a catholic past from 7th century and name came from saint Asaph who ministered in that region. It was raining heavily , abandoned the visit to the church and went searching for the nearby beach shore in Conwy

The beach close to Conwy  which we went was an extensive sandy beach with  mussel banks and kids enjoyed scenery and making sand castles
