PE Monday

Annu, Munnu and Theresugo for athletes in Sports arena near Etihad stadium,it is a brilliant opportunity and Geo too join in the indoor sports area alontg with us. PE trainers do lot of exercises, running, discuss  throw, javelin,pole vault, long jump, high jump, relay and so on with the group.

Fencing Competition

Munnu is participating in competition. This time is for electric fencing and the game went well with bronze medal. Following that, there was a barbecue and we went to media city to watch Ceebies free day.

Athletics

Children are going for athletics in sports city and it has been a great privilege to practise many skills. Thersu's team won leading points for athletics and  Thersu bagged the medal as she was the captain.

Trampolining with a Twist

Oxygen free trampolining is something new that came across in Manchester and we took all our children. All of them had a fabulous time, coaches were brilliant too. Munnu is trying to develop his skills and working up to some pretty impressive tricks along with expert guidance. There are of course several trampolines just to let loose and play on, plus designated zones for volleyball and dodge ball.

Bike ride in Mersy banks

Great time with family on bike, went around Mersy to Sale water park. Munnu likes to be adventurous and Theresu was so excited on her bike. Little Geo was on his dad's bike and Annu my mature girl we had a lovely time. About 4kms was covered in our journey tirelessly. Theresu was the star.

Ultm8 Warrior 2016

Munnu got a chance to take part in Ultm8 warrior 2016 (Manchester) in which technological wiz kids  are inspired to come outdoors and involve in various physical activities. Ultm8 warrior obstacles require children to climb, crawl, balance and chance to get muddy and finish the race to get the medal. Munnu was really wet and muddy after his hard work. This is the first time he is doing such a challenge and seems to be enjoyed and received a medal for the participation.

Fencing

Munnu has very recently started going for fencing lessons with Four of Club. As part of it,he just went for a Fencing competition in Stoke.

History of Fencing says this sport was originated from epee fights in 15th century. This is one of the longest running sports in Modern Olympics. Fencing was the game practised by the Father of Modern  Era of Olympics ( Baron Coubertin)
