Summer with Cousins

Last week we had our cousin sister came for summer holidays for a week with her three boys. Lots and lots of fun for children been together. One of the beautiful time during summer break. Every year  both families looking forward for such an enjoyable time.

We had time in Southport beach..lots and lots of water fun, spa, swimming, football, stripping clothes and enjoying dipping in waves and beach sand.

Other time at home used for volley ball, pool and ping pong.
One of those days I was craving for food out and all went out for a donor kebab  meal. That was lot of fun with chit chatting and enjoyed food.

Other summer classic was bbq which we didnt do this year until our cousins arrived.

There was a day when children were taken for trampolining jump. All enjoyed thoroughly.

Reading challenge this year. Just went library today for making Kaleidoscopes and in the process of finishing reading books.

In between one of our dear friends turned up surprisingly and had a brilliant time with all of them.

Finally it's time to say adieu until we meet again carrying all the good memories being together.

Myriad Journeys

Past week has been a significant week in our life.  Annu is away on a mission trip to Uganda for 2 weeks with JY UK . Theresu is away on a summer camp with FSSP . Mich was with his friend and Geo  with us.

      Beginning  of Ugandan journey.

    In Uganda

Back from Uganda, In Birmingham airport

In FSSP girls summer  camp, we met one of our former homeschooler and now a seminarian.

Together with Thomas and Anthraper  family we went for a stroll and in Malvern hills next day. The journey was quite good on the Feast of transformation . Transfiguration foretells the glory of the Lord as God. A beautiful day for a hiking as trsnsformation take place on a high mountain. Climbed hills one after the other, big children  with Jobycha climbed the next one.

Malvern hills stand tall on border of Worcestshire and  with fantàstic views of open  hillitops and wooded slopes . You could see cyclists on the briddleways of the hills. There are some challenging climbs with spectacular views.

  On the highest point

Boys finding time to chat amidst climbing and relaxing

Visited some of our friends and had meal together. Out to visit a sailing club.

It was daddy's 75th birthday too this week,  many gathered at home and wished him a good health. Another beautiful journey of 75 years.

Thank good Lord for all little journeys we could make this year away from Covid years.

Thor's Cave

It was a quick decisión  to go and explore as it was a sunny day. .Exploring the living landscape and woodlands is something we enjoy doing as a family. Some in our family is passionate in climbing. It s a beautiful way to introduce children to the wonders and value of nature from their baby steps. Always its a time of letting go, have fun and enjoy, absorbed into the beauty of création and creator God.

Thor's  is a natural cavern in peak district, one of the most iconic landmarks. There is a track across church in Grindon and follow the farm. Or start  journey  from Wetton car park.

Our two little cousins of Gel and therese joined along as Annu away for a mission experience in Uganda.  It is such s beautiful place for breather and to take in the profund beauty of the surrounding areas. The cliff was bit scary for me but everyone enjoyed on top .

Then walk down to Thor's Cave. It was a profund experience to creep in the cave. Children enjoyed creeping in the slippery and slithery cave. Holding to the edge slide in and some  inside the cave . The trip is a strenous adventure, but its a wonderful experience for adults and children.

Children enjoying clambering up and down, sliding and hanging on to the edge and keeping up the balances. Just be careful as there are some dangerous drop to be aware of.
It was worth visiting the place.
