15 th Birthday- Miracle baby

So much preparations and waiting, longing for birthdays. 21st Jan is Theresa's 15th birthday. Another gift in our life. I really wanna thank Lord for His mercy and goodness especially from a premature baby girl grown into a mature, smart , creative and sporty girl.

Her eldest ones joined home for the day as they have a small break after their exams.
Unfortunately or fortunately, Just have to be in hospital. But it was an amazing day, as her wish was to go for bowling and be just with family  odd one as usual ww hold a big birthday party with different themes and inviting all her friends

Birthdays often commence with their breakfast in bed. It was banana pancake ,  so my hubby ended making batter as I was away.

Once we reached back  we went for H mass in oratory. We met her godparents there as it was their wedding Anniversary falls on that day too.

It was supposed to be a day out eating, so grabbed some yummy yummy Samosas, gulab jamun and other Indian sweets from Smethwick ( Sardarji shop in Bhx). Lavished with pizzas on the way.

Theresumol is wearing her birthday jumper gifted by her eldest brother. Little bro gave a noodles bowl and so surprisingly Annus gave some Korean items including Noodles too which she cooked and tasted in her noodle bowl slurping with the chopstick.

This time Mich, geo baked cake and decorated against the routine of Annu making cake. It was a bit hard decision but there was not other way .

Some of the cards and canvas that are home made. Some of the greetings were classic. Geo wrote - thanks for being big part of life.
Michus made a hibiscus drawn card which theresu like. Dad's special memories and canva from me as a reminder of our tiny weeny girl now became a big teenager. Thank you Lord for your greatness in our life.
Bowling shifted to next day after the cake prepared by sibling brothers.

snowfall 2026

This morning in the garden the children had great fun playing in the snow. We decided to make a snowman. Working together, we rolled the snow into two balls. One for the head and one for the body. When they were big enough, we popped the head onto the body and talked about how we could decorate him. We found twigs for arms, stones for eyes and a bottle top for a nose ( we couldn’t find a carrot) We finished his look with a hat and scarf.

Feast of Epiphany

Celebrating the Epiphany is a nice way to wrap up Christmas and take down the decorations unless you want to leave a tiny bit of pine leaves or sprigs till February 2nd, the proper Chrimas season ends with presentation. It is the reminder of the wise men reached Christ child with their gifts and manifestation of Christ to the outer world. Also we have two of our boys had baptism days on 6th Jan. There are so many beautiful ways to celebrate One of the favourite traadition is to have the wise men journey round the house towards nativity scene. Attending mass: Chalk your door: The traditional inscription is 20 + C+M+B+26. The crosses stand for Christ, numbers at the ends reminds of the current year and the letters denotes the wise men.And it is fun to find the prayer and do the chalking. We absoltely love to do this every year and this year it is our new home is blessed. Bake or buy a kings cake: I tend to make different versions some years. this year was with plain flour and didnt work out well. But everyone was waiting to slice it and lookinng forawrd to get the christ child or coin hid in it to be declared as the king of the day.
But is also Snowy days for children to make snow balls and sledging.Even theresu enjoyed day with cooking something for the family. It was great.
From past years feast
