St George's day
It was the feast of St George on 23rd of April and at home there is someone celebrating name saint too. As soon as Geo woke up, everyone bombarded him with wishes, a winding soldier, play dough and he got really kicked in and kept saying its my feast day!.
In the morning, listened to the story and the legend connected to St George who is the patron of England too. After attending the Holy Mass, children went for athletics and in the eve was the dalcrose lesson, obviously children had a tough day. Prepared some shields for Theresu and Geo, in the meantime, I stick in the oven the homemade dragon bread and some scones with red cross of St George.

Kids used some of the printables from 'real life at home blog, used resources from catholic cuisine and catholic icing. Had a fab meal in the evening and enjoyed the day.

Catholic mothers Conference
Conference for the catholic mothers was amazing experience especially meeting many other families of bigger and smaller in numbers. Many homeschooling mums were there. Another great experience was meeting Giann's s daughter and her testimony, which stunned me and put me in a right direction to look upto where God wants me to. Many JY'S were there to attend the conference. There were lot of nice sessions from different speakers and moreover I enjoyed the delicious meals. Children and jochayan stayed with Cijo and enjoyed some places .
It was a fabulous day. Thanks be to Lord.

Feast of St Joseph
The solemnity of St Joseph is a great feast during Lent. It is a tradition to make a St Joseph Altar remembering the prayers of people of Sicily during a huge famine.Prayers were heard and the famine was ended.People brought all sorts of produce as a thanksgiving, which is reminded during the feast day.
.St Joseph is the patron of fathers, universal church and patron of our Homeschooling too.
Celebrated this beautiful day with some treats and said Litany too.

Mary MEALS Backpack
There was a golden opportunity to join with schools backpack project which is part of Mary meals. Many backpacks have been sent to children who are unfortunate to have such things in different countries. It is sent from supporters from UK and Ireland who supports
Mary meals .It is also a great way to recycle things too and great initiative for children to support other children who are in need during lenten season.
Geo is carrying the bag.
Four bags were collected and handed over to St Mary's church, which is donating to Mary's meals in the coming week.
