Birthday event

It was my dream for a few years to help with an event. Invitation comes with surprises from the Lord. That is my experience always.  Though the days started pretty much busier with school, college and my clinical training.  I don't want to take up my dream. In the end, let it go happened. Helped Dilla with Joby's birthday gathering and hall decor. Thank God, it fell in place very beautifully and elegantly.

Some of the highlights of the day...

Collage of 50 is placed on top of the arch and the tinsel below.

Month of September

As summer drifting away , nature started showing signs of autumn, weather bit chillier,  yellow leaves, days getting darker. Another beautiful month , remembering Our Lady's nativity . The holidays closed with final memories with some of our dear home educators:  picnic outdoor on a lovely sunny eve in the woods, sunrays dropping through the leaves, birds cheeping , kidos all having fun gathering brambles, stones, cones for the Lady's feast,  going on and on in the rides...

Had a feast back home , cooling down with ice creams, laces and culminated the day with small Marian prayers

Reopened new academic year on
8th Sep  with some new school treats.

Caramel slice by Thomas family.

Annu started her first day in college too. Invited Our Parish priest, Peter as he is celebrating his birthday too. Had meal together. He blessed our home too.

Next day of the week was the feast of St Ambrose Barlow, our own local saint. The church has preserved the remains of the saint, the jaw bone remains in the altar. He is a Lancashire martyr at the time of reformation. Everyone is most welcome to the church. Surrounding areas of Chorlton belongs to Barlow family before and some turned into golf club near water park....A man with courage.

St Ambrose  Barlow pray for us and England.

Smaller beginnings . .Greater steps

Looking back the last ten years , the initial step of our Home education with wobbly steps, falls and getting up and moving forward. The days were so cloudy with unknown ways...but the ways He proviided and led was amazing.  Met so many new people with different life styles and their daring steps. Every step was such an amazing learning, enjoyed along the different challenges. Reminded of aude sapere- dare to know.. So many new families were met and inspired through different networking of Home educators...new skills, talents, stirred my spirit ...

Now our eldest Annu just finished her GCSE and cleared. Moving into A levels is the proud moment and to look forward with much hope.

Today was another great moment and achievement in our life , annu got through college for business studies, psychology and politics.

The day which Annu and Munnu got the GCSE results,  both got excelled in their results. Munnu did three subjects and finishing his GCSE next year. Gladiolus from our garden , to honour them. Proud moments..

Below is the snap from Cefn Lea gathering for Home educators. All the children were rewarded and encouraged to bring their joy of Homeschooling.

With our dear Thomas family whom we were so close in our journey.

Thank you Lord for the providence and His goodness.

Summer Holidays 2021

This Summer break was more of a visit to many friends and families after such a long gap. Many visitors to our home has been to the Chorlton woods and sports field as usual. However we enjoyed being together travelling...

With my cousin and family after two years of reunion.

The carnival conducted by Manchester city council for Merseybank was stunning with so many fun , food and celebration including  songs and lots of freebies to take home.

Weaving a structure with willows. Reminded me of my childhood weaving coconut leaves with our neighbour for their thatched house. Something if similar.
With other friends, enjoying sunny day with ice cream and playing football.

Friends and families visited last few weeks.

 Feeding birds.

My nephew just received First Holy communion and some of the preps for it.

Love Woodlands

Woodlands are amazing habitats of plants and animals.. Some of very recent trips to Woodlands in South - Portsmouth and Ailsbury Wendover woods.

These are the natural environment for food and shelter for many wildlife.  Always enjoy the strolls in Woodlands, so relaxing and calming time through woods.

Forest bathing is an amazing experience; switch off phones, slow down yourself, breathe in to abdomen, enjoy the myriad colours around, breathe in the fragrance of nature, sit and enjoy too.

Wendover woodland is so enchanting with lots of go ape adventure spots, nature's play areas, kidos did strolls, races and tag ...

Wheat field peeping into Beautiful landscape, kids trying to peel off wheat from sheath.

   In Portsmouth, woodlands

Under the big canopy , tree gives shelter and protection to many wildlife for many many years.

With friend Deeps...

The tree prefers a quiet life, but the tree is not comfortable with parties or banquets. Tree trusts chirping birds and whispering stream rather than words.

Tree is truly a storyteller of the universe. Without  words, the tree tells all in  its deep silence.
