Forest Schooling

Kids had some fun time in our woods, whitling and making a den. The day was great with glorious sunshine. We had some study time outdoors. There is an orchard in Chorton woods, which is so great during summer. Differnt fruits start coming up, early raspberries in June, red currants, then as months progress. Later on apples and other fruits. But it is an excellent place to go for rides as well through different trails.

  Our rose garden in June
Forest School takes place in a woodland or natural wooded environment to support the development between the learner and the natural world. It also promote the holistic development of the children in fostering resilient, confident, independent and to be creative learners.
