Our Miracle babe turns 10

Our little Theresu turned 10 , a big and lovely , sporty girl now. Thank God for all the wonderful years from where she was tiny , premature baby to a beautiful girl. 

     After attending H Mass, Fr Peter played Happy birthday music for Theresu..then little kidos went for a snow sleigh as there was snowing last night. Theresu was so excited , prepared and was helping decorating the lounge . Thought to keep Football theme for our birthday girl who is very passionate about football and she is missing those lessons.

  Made some football jerseys out of icing and geo like some of the club colours and did assist me in cutting shapes..did not come out well. ..not bad too

Annu is decorating the chocolate cake which is her favourite and not some others. Making chocolate cake after such a long time..decorated with hexagonal shapes and white icing.

There was a mini zoom birthday party with her soulmates......a goodie bag was delivered to them ahead...It was Theresu's godparents wedding anniversary too and received online card from them.

Towards the end of the day; for movie time and together we watched a malayalam movie'Ormaynundo mone..( cant remember full name)'  Thank God for the wonderful wayTheresu is given to us.

Winter stroll 2021 born

Since the new year 2021 started, We were out for some winter walks shoveling ice , making snow man, skalking in our woods. We were in our woods for most of the trails we explored and it is so fun and enjoyable.  The courage and prep before, to get out is what most required during this season. ...packing up with boots and winter outfits. 

Had some fun breaking twigs and old branches, running around and hiding inside...

12 days of Christmas- Epiphany

It was Feast of Epiphany on 6th January. Visit of three wise man and more significantly the revelation of Christ to the world.This used to be  known as 12 days of Christmas in England.Days of joy and spirit of Christmas remains and on the feast culminates the celebration .Eastern rite celebrates Baptism of the Lord . At home we have the baptism day of two of our boys. So we have been feasting those days.

There used to be a beautiful tradition of blessing homes which stems up from Old testament Passover story.

Tried to incorporate the meanings of 12 days with 12 points of faith, which is so beautiful. After Hmass, back home started preparing some deserts and meals for the day. Everyone was there to help.Galette de rois was made with two gold coins hid in it for the King of the day. Annu helped with preparing for gold rings and stuffs with short crust pastry.

There was a mini quiz as a family.  Little ones were so keen to open the gift and finally opened their teeny weeny gifts

Over weekend, we had a small gathering of children and some of them done beautiful work on 12 days .
