Showers of Blessing- First Holy Communion

It was such a delightful and grateful day in our family. Fourth Holy communion in our family , reception at  home . ..Our parish priest was prepping Geo for the day. Cousins reached home early and assisted in so many things. Geo received First Communion and invited some of his close allies only.

Geo had the privilege to have his First Holy Communion alone after school one. Such a blessed time. Many friends and families were there for H Mass.

There was a small party for the parishioners after
the mass and went well, tea outside the church, nice gathering with home made vanilla sponge cake.

Vanilla sponge cake from food blog cakebyLynz. Cake turned out good though look not appealing.

Lord who can turn around things so magnificently as weather was bit unexpected. The day was glorious, everyone relaxed and enjoyed throughly including neighbours and friends. After meal , enjoying the desert, came the showers of blessings. Everyone was in action , packed up, some enjoyed pitter patter rain. Boys had a good time in tent playing snooker

We pitched a camping tent apart from Gazebo.. Boys had lot of fun inside tent, pool and chat, during the rain when many went indoors

Some of the behind the scenes prep for the day

They prepared fruit platter for the day.

In photo booth with some of his close allies.
