Month of Sacred Heart
Since June is the month specially kept for Sacred Heart.Jesus himself reveals as the ''meek and humble of heart'' in Mathew 11; 29 which is the scriptural basis for this devotion. Sponge cake decorated with some strawberries and springles showing the thorns around Sacred Heart, flames were done with raspberries.

St Antony's relics from Padua was there in Salford cathedral for veneration and it was a great opportunity to go and visit the relics.

Last week we went to visit Quarry Bank Mill which is one of the industrial heritage site in Manchester, where we saw how water wheel was used to work the weaving mills,  how the apprentice home was run. The guided tour was great which explained how the paupered children worked in the mill and learn about their working style and lives.
