First Holy Communion

Anu is preparing for her first Holy communion in May 2013. She kept Blessed Imelda as her patron saint and made a coloring book of Imelda. Anu finished reading Blessed Imeldas book. Amazing story.

Attatched is the novena from http://familyatthefootofthecross.blogspot.co.uk.

This is the notebook we made, which includes the parts of mass which anu is planning to do during our holidays from today till her first communion.

We are off to India for 6 weeks from today, waiting to have Anu's First holy communion on 4th of May along with her friend Vidya, delighted to have Fr Arikatt as the priest for her communion who is also the priest of her baptism.

Maundy Thursday

Children were learnt about Washing the feet from Gospel John 13.1-6. Read about the feast of passover from Exodus 12. We made a Last Supper craft and learnt a little about Da Vinci's last supper painting , adopted the ideas from catholic icing.eEnjoyed and they made an attempt to learn the various names of disciples and identified disciples based on reaction when Jesus said  " Amen I said to you, One of you will betray me ". It was wonderful though pictures not very clear.
