Our India trip

It was a desire to take children through the heart of Mother India.

We had our journey initiated from Alpy   then joined in  Mangla express from South. It is unique experience though its a long journey...My sister in law joined along to go to Nasik.

Oxygen Resort, Venmani

It was such an awesome days in Oxygen resort in Vdnmani, Idukki. The whole venue is superb packed with natural beauty, in the forests , cascading waterfalls , lots of different variety of planted trees, fruits, cardamom, pepper plants, stunning hill tops with thick forest in high altitude.

The food was so scrumptious, home made and home grown items.

Kids enjoyed most time in the pool and had blast, playing and playing in the water. The ambience of cottage facing the waterfalls gave  a stunning view. The canopy of the thick woods gave a dark scene early morning. Everything seems to be truly a mega blessing.

Before we leave resort, we had birthday mini celebration .The days flew past so quick but it was wonderful days with family.

Onam in India n Baptism

After such a long time, I am celebrating Onam in Kerala since I left the country.

Athapoo( floral carpet) display below  in one of the shops. Every nook and corner in kerala has floral display during onam and we tried to make one at home.. Children gathered petals from here and there and decorated.

  Onam day  is celebrated with varieties of  vegetarian  dishes and so on....

Beach Marari

It is a new portion of Alleppey Beach we are in.

In India- 2024

As a family we are in India just before school and uni begins. Our elder ones made a debut journey to India and was a good experience fof them.

They are in Saudi flight to Jewish and then to final destination Kochi. Seems to be in lot of joy next day finishing ignite conference. A lot of things at a time, but seems to be chilled out both.

In Alleppey Beach after a hospital visit. It was calm by lunch time and enjoyed our time simply sitting  on beach side and snacking peanuts.

Yesterday , our neices came to Alpy and we were put for mini boating. The boat was only built on last week with swing, bed and other accessories  It was a nice ride through Punnamada to Vembanadu Lake. It seems to be an enchanting experience with mild breeze blowing, vast stretch of lake across with vast array of big and small boats touching the horizon. When we were in boat,  I was cherishing memories of childhood and upcoming snake boat race.

 In marari Beach, in Alpy but different from usual. Shore was calm and kids played on the waves and made sand castles. In the end, we had showers and culminated with variety of ice creams.
