English Chess Federation

English chess Federation champonship for national chess champions of under 9's from different regions of the country.  It was in Nottingham secondary school. Geo got into the troup to participate. So many brilliant teams were there.  For us it was the first chance to meet so many competitors.

That day was Geo's Feast day too, St George . He had a little feast day snack and card.

  

It was brilliant day to get to know so many..and the experience of children facing match. Though day was long,  early morning start till late eve. But enjoyed the time with kids , Mich and Therese was there too. 

Next day having Sun bathing, taking a bit break during bike ride in our Chorlton trails, catching sunny days....

A Visit to Liverpool F.C.

Over the weekend, kidoos got a golden opportunity to visit Liver pool F.C. Some of the snaps with other buddies.

Easter Day

He is Risen. Alleuiah. It is that Easter joy is reflected in everything. He is risen. Easter tide which resounds a hope that the Lord is risen.  Family activities is very important on Easter Sunday . The feeling of relaxed but to gain momentum and to aim at lamb roast.

Easter meal with roast lamb, 9 varieties of vegetables . Big family was there so we have to extend the dining table to accomodate  all.

In the eve, had a visit to our friends house.

   Paschal candle made with kiddos. It has a cross with 5 wounds. Either side of candle is alpha and omega. Along with that current year ia added. That candle should run for whole year.

In Triduum

Holy Thursday marks the end of of Lent and commencing Holy Triduum. Always bring me my childhood memoirs of having Pesaha Meal.

Over the years I found out another beautiful tradition of visiting 7 churches. The tradition of visiting  churches with regard to  watching the Lord in the altar of repose in 7 churches . 

Upon entering each church, pilgrims visit the altar of repose, kneel, make the sign of the cross, read the appropriate scripture for each station and engage in private prayer and adoration

  Visiting our parish cuirch and we tried to visit roughly 6 churches  by different people in the family by making walks yesterday and today instead of the usual way.

     Pesaha Meal

From Maundy Thursday crafts , making last supper craft with disciples and Jesus out of egg cartons and printables from catholic icing. It was time consuming one but came out nicely.

Just enacted a bit washing of feet at home as no washing in our parish this year just to get the gist.

On Spy Wednesday-also called Holy Wednesday, as it is the Wednesday of Holy Week — in which Judas Iscariot betrays Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. As part of it we did 30 coins hunting and finding out and understsnd the signiificance of the day.
