A visit to Manchester Museum

Manchester museum is 130 years old and recently renewed. Currently stunning exhibitions of Golden Egyptian mummies going on, So many learning programmes on to spark imagination. Visit is truly a worth.

  Another home educating friends joined with us too.

  Skeleton hanging on top. Museum is a home to many cultures. Other highlights are T rex, fossils, live amphibians, reptiles and so on.

Happy Mothering Sunday

It is the Fourth Sunday in Lent and known as Laetare Sunday. A day to remember mums with gifts and attention, women who nurtured throughout lives. Also from middle ages, it is a day to honour Mother churches. 

I had an early breakfast from my kiddos with cards too. Bunch of  daffodils ready for mothering Sunday ..

We had a guest today our friend at home.  Some of the snaps together with little ones as others were busy with their work.

     So today is a day  encouraged to go to roots. Bearing that in mind we  attended Holy mass in Syro Malabar Church . It was a big celebration going over there too.

Feast of Patron of Ireland. Here on the feast day , we remember so many Irish people ìn England.

St Patrick was born in England, captured as a slave to Ireland. 

☘ Shamrock is the symbol used to teach Holy Trinity.

Made some ginger cookies in the form of clover.

Pizza Making

It was a short and sweet day in pizza express. A few home educating families gathered. Tutorials and self preparation from scratch was nice. Staff were so friendly and kind...

Doughs were pushed and ready in the pizza pan .First of all pasata was spread and embellished with mozzarella cubes  and to oven.

All ready to snack...yummy.

County Chess

For the first time, Geo is taking part in County chess competition. This was in Cheadle School.

Teams all around North were there including Wirral, Staffordshire County, Manchester County, Nottingham and Leicester county. This was from 9 and below and Geo got selected too.

First Reconciliiation of George

Such a privilege to attend s beautiful ceremony of confession on 9th of March 2023. Children from St Ambrose school were there and Geo joined along.

18th Birthday - Our special Girl

Its great all these wonderful 18 years how Good Lord was walking with us so close ...18th birthday is such a big leap what you want to do ahead perhaps for some at least....

        Annu thought to skip college and with family though not acceptable to many.  It was brillant. Started with our morning Birthday showers with cards, pan cakes and gifts ( not much ,Thought of shopping for Gen Z is hard. There is pressure)

Invited one of Annu's friends and family for evening meal.

Birthday meal with family and birthday girl want to spent time at home. So we had a roast chicken, vegetable and deserts which she was looking for sometime.

      With Annu's close Allies who visited over the weekend other than a mini party at home on her birthday.
