ASIA

Ann and Michael were learning about Continent 'Asia'. We took a copy of continent and then fixed onto two layers of glued foam sheets. Then wrapped around the sides with tape. We took the copy of flags of different asian countries and laminated it. Then we cut it into flags and then fixed to tooth pricks using transparent tape so here it is. Children were asked to find out different countries in Asia and fixed each flag onto the respective countries. Then learned about, which is the biggest  country in Asia and the second largest. The neighbouring countries of India were also easily identified by the kids. Next week we will be looking more into India and the national animal, flower , bird and planning to listen  to National anthem.

On the Feast of Holy family-Dec 30

Children preparing chocolate rice crispes cup cakes on the feast of Holy family. Melted the dark chocolate and added rice crispes into it. Then they decorated it on the top. Poured it into  cases and then put it in the fridge for half an hour to set. It was easy for children to make as a family and we all enjoyed it.
